Belly Dance -Get a great workout for the body and mind with bellydance! Learn this ancient art form from a professional Fitness Instructor, in a safe, supportive environment!

Level 1 focuses on principles of bellydance, muscle isolation, movement combinations, and empowerment.
Level 2 takes us to the next step,
focusing on intermediate isolation combinations, props, principles of stage work, belly etiquette, and more! Bring water, lots of energy, and your sense of humor!

Performance Group/Choreography Class - a fun class designed for those who want to perform in a group setting, or simply learn principles of choreography to incorporate into their own solo or troupe routines.

Belly Dance Class Registration:
All of my group bellydance classes are $15 to drop-in, $45/4 classes, or $80/8 classes.  You can pay with check or cash on your first day of class, or  you can register ahead of time through paypal (www.paypal.com – paypal payments to mychelledancer@yahoo.com)
I will issue you a class card, which will be filed under your first name in the card box. Your class card can be used toward bellydance classes at any of the studios I teach at. Every week you just sign-in, initial your card, and get ready to shake! Classes do not have to be taken consecutively; cards are valid for four months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable.

Private Bellydance Coaching - Private sessions are individually designed to meet your personal goals, and are best suited to more advanced skills such as props and combinations.  Mychelle uses a variety of methods and activities to create a strong core, balanced posture, and an overall polished dance presentation. Having a specific goal (ie choreography) or prop (ie veil or sword) that you would like to work on will help to create the best possible plan for you.

Mychelle currently offers private coaching on weekday afternoons at The Pilates Studio or the Sacramento Academy of Dance.  Session range in price from $75 for a single session, 3 for $195 ($65 a session), or 5 for $300 ($60 a session). Contact Mychelle to get started!

Personal Training - Mychelle utilizes a variety of resistance and core-based methods to create a strong, healthy, sculpted physique. Programs are designed to meet individual needs and goals. Pilates - Based on system of controlled movement and breath created by Joseph Pliates, Mychelle's pilates classes will strengthen and lengthen the limbs, develop incredible core strength and stability, and challenge the mind.

Pilates Apparatus - Private & group sessions utilizing the Reformer (a system of pulleys and springs), the Chair, Cadillac, and a variety of other Pilates equipment. Apparatus work is the ultimate way to strengthen the core and create long, lean muscles!

Yoga - It is Mychelle's goal to share the strength of body and peace of mind gained from hatha yoga! Teaching a flowing, active style of this ancient art, yoga is the perfect way to strengthen, stretch, and relax! Total Body Yoga is fun, mixed level class designed to sculpt, strengthen, and tone the glutes, abs, core, and more!
